Our Story

Fermenting Cellars Winery, Wedding and Event Venue is located in beautiful rural southern Wisconsin.

Bill and Mary Eckert opened Fermenting Cellars Winery in 2010.

They have been making wine since 1986 as a hobby, enjoying fermenting grapes and fruits that have made beautiful single grape wines and some blended wines.

Today we offer a variety of dry and sweet, red, and white wines and a single run fortified wine all to be enjoyed in a beautiful covered pavilion setting, a cozy private Shed, or an open-air patio in front of a large fire place.

We started as a hobby; we continue as a tradition!

Our focus is to provide a high-quality and delicious wine tasting experience,

all the while treating our guests as if they were family.

With a variety of offerings to choose from, we are sure that you will enjoy our wines!
